Annette has been involved with swimming her entire life. It is her passion. She learnt to swim at the age of three at the local swimming club. Annette competed for a Metropolitan Swimming Club, then moved on to other water sports including water skiing and diving.
Annette started to teach swimming when she was 15. At the time she also worked for Forbes Carlile Swim School for 5 years. Forbes Carlile being one of the early pioneers in the aquatic industry in Australia.
Annette received her Austswim Teaching Swimming and Water Safety accreditation as soon as Austswim became a recognised training authority. Annette gained extensive experience working with asthma affected children when she worked for the Asthma Foundation of NSW through their Asthma Children's Swimming Programme. While Annette completes her Business Studies Certificates, she co-ordinated the swimming program for the Department of Education and continued and still teaching at a large regional facility. She is a qualified Lifeguard. She is skilled in Aquatics Operations and Supervision as well as Aquatic Management.
Annette now operates her own heated pool and complex - A facility which caters for all her student needs and operates 7 days a week. She still enjoys further studies while at the same time teaches others the confidence in water.
